Left for Dead

Left for Dead is a 1989 album released by the group Crazy Horse. For the last Crazy Horse studio album to date, Billy Talbot and Ralph Molina teamed up with singer/songwriter/guitarists Sonny Mone and Matt Piucci. This album was not made during the first period that guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro was not part of the group since he had joined them in 1975. After the problems of making his album Life and its poor reception, Neil Young fell out with the band, dismissing them during the sessions. While Sampedro remained in various band permutations with Young over the next two years, the others made the first Crazy Horse album in 11 years.
