Live in Chicago 23.10.95 is a five-track promotional live release by The Smashing Pumpkins. The CD was packaged as a companion piece with some French pressings of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The concert was held at the Riviera Theater in Chicago, originally part of a live FM broadcast across the United States to most alternative rock stations of the time, to promote Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness which was released the following day. A power failure occurred during the beginning of "Zero", the third song played, forcing the band to stop.
