Loch Lomond Single Malt

The Loch Lomond Single Malt is a Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky produced by the Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria, Scotland, near Loch Lomond. In later books of the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin, beginning with the book Flight no. 714 (1966), Loch Lomond is known to be a favourite whisky brand of Captain Haddock. Other brands of whiskey, including John Haig and Johnnie Walker have also appeared in the comic books. The real Loch Lomond brand was founded in Glasgow in the 1840s by Gabriel Bulloch and became a successful independent brewer with its own retail outlets until 1984.
