London Borough of Hackney

The London Borough of Hackney ( pronunciation (help·info)) is a London borough of North/North East London, and forms part of inner London. The local authority is Hackney London Borough Council. The south western tip of the borough is adjacent to the City and Broadgate. The Borough of Hackney attracted some office development within its boundary. Also in the south west is Hoxton and Shoreditch which are central to the London arts scene and home to numerous clubs, bars, shops and restaurants, much of which is centred on Hoxton Square.
