Louis Wade Sullivan

Louis Wade Sullivan (born November 3, 1933) is an American physician and businessman. He served as the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under President George H. W. Bush and founded the Morehouse School of Medicine. Sullivan is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy. Although he was born in Atlanta, Georgia, his parents moved to rural Blakely, Georgia, shortly after he was born. His father was an mortician and his mother worked as a teacher there.
