Madam Rosmerta

Madam Rosmerta is the fiction landlady of The Three Broomsticks pub in the Harry Potter series of novels by JK Rowling. She is attractive (described in the books as "a curvy sort of woman") and runs her pub well. Several pupils, including Ron Weasley, have a crush on her. Madam Rosmerta was played by Julie Christie in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Nothing is known of Madam Rosmerta's origins, or of her life before the commencement of the Harry Potter stories.
