Mads Albæk

Mads Winther Albæk (born 14 January 1990 in Roskilde) is a Danish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Danish club FC Midtjylland and the Danish national under-21 team. When playing for Herfølge Boldklub in the youth team, he was on trial at SC Heerenveen from the Netherlands, and later on, he was tested by Tottenham Hotspur from England. His footballing career started in a small club outside Copenhagen, called Gadstrup IF, where he played till he was 11. At the age of 11, he moved to play for Herfølge Boldklub. His talent was discovered by FC Midtjylland, a club known for its excellent youth academy.
