The Mandarin Oriental Tower in Chicago, USA, is a canceled 74-story 930 feet (280 m) mixed use building which would have been the ninth tallest building in Chicago if completed, assuming Waterview Tower had also been completed (currently on hold). Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, which did not have an equity stake in the project, lent its name to the development. After completion, the group was to have managed the hotel located within the building. This mixed-use building would have offered 250 "5-star" hotel/condominium guest rooms in the Mandarin Oriental hotel (floors 28-40), 100 resident units (floors 41-54), and 150 tower condominiums (floors 55-74).
