Martin Roberts

Martin Roberts (born 6 June 1986) is a Wales international rugby union footballer who currently plays at scrum-half for the Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership. After playing in a half-back combination with James Hook at Neath College, the pair played together at Neath RFC and then the Ospreys, signing for the Scarlets from the Ospreys on 27 March 2008, after the departure of Dwayne Peel to Sale Sharks. Roberts signed a two-year contract with the Scarlets, and would compete with Sililo Martens, Lee Williams and Gavin Cattle for the number 9 jersey.
