Matt O'Connor

Matt O'Connor is a music producer, songwriter and A&R manager originally from Sydney, Australia. He has been in the music industry for over 20 years including a highly successful term at Warner Music Australia which built him a reputation as one of the most experienced and respected A&R managers in the country. His projects have sold over one million records with an ARIA track record that includes 17 top 10 records, 12 top 20 records and 16 top 40 records. He is now the owner and Managing Director of The A&R Department, an independent A&R consultancy company specialising in artist development, music distribution and project management.
