MC Basstard

Nima Najafi-Hashemi (born July 18, 1982) is a rapper from Berlin, better known as MC Basstard. He is also a member of the crews Berlin Crime and Bass Crew. Through his mystical, often in occult and horror themed style, he is regarded as the founders of the German horrorcore rap scene. As a refugee from Iran, Hashemi moved to Berlin. He comes in contact with the hip-hop scene on the visit of the Sunday freestyle sessions in Royal Bunker coffee and the Wendesday sessions in the ufaFabrik, where he first came in contact with the Berlin crew called Berlin Crime.
