Molista

Molista (Greek: Μόλιστα) is a settlement in the Ioannina Prefecture in Epirus, Greece, situated in to slopes of Smolikas. It is in the municipality of Konitsa. In 2001 its population was 67. The GR-20 (Ioannina - Konitsa - Kozani), the old road is approximately 5 km west. The village was known as Messaria (Μεσσαριά) and is rarely known today. The village is unhabited during the winter months. The population during the summer rises. It has a spring at the entrance of the village. The village is not known when it was found. It is believed it is around 3,000 years old as the vial may be found which brought the light of archaeological spade and made cinders.
