Mongal

Mongal is a fictional supervillain in the DC Universe. She made her first unnamed appearance in Showcase '95 #8 (September 1995); her first appearance as Mongal was in Superman vol. 2, #170 (July 2001). Mongal is the sister of Mongul (son of the original), introduced by her brother to Superman in Superman #170. When Krypto nearly killed Mongul, Mongal escaped and reappeared to destroy New York City. After Maxima's death in the "Our Worlds at War" mini-series, Mongal was chosen as the ruler of Maxima's homeworld of Almerac, and was established as a galactic threat to Superman.
