Mutsuo Toi

was a Japanese spree killer, who killed his grandmother, 29 neighbors and himself in Tsuyama massacre in 1938. Toi was born in Okayama Prefecture. His parents died of tuberculosis, and he was brought up by his grandmother. He was originally smart, but he had been a Hikikomori since his sister was married in 1934.
