Nick Harmer

Nicholas Harmer (born January 23, 1975) is the bass guitarist for the group Death Cab for Cutie. Harmer was born in Landstuhl, Germany. He attended Governor John R. Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington, and was President of his senior class. He played water polo and swam on the swim team. In the short documentary "Open Windows" Nick said he only wears black, blue and brown for concerts, cutting long sleeve shirts down to three quarter length. He chooses these colors arbitrarily because he is color blind.
