North Massapequa

North Massapequa is a hamlet (and census-designated place) located on Long Island within the town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States. The population was 17,886 at the 2010 census. Residents are served by the Massapequa post office, and the school districts of Plainedge and Farmingdale. North Massapequa is located at 40°42′15″N 73°28′8″W / 40.70417°N 73.46889°W / 40.70417; -73.46889 (40.704200, -73.468918). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.8 km), all land.
