Nothingface

Nothingface is the fifth album by Canadian heavy metal band Voivod. It was released by Mechanic/MCA Records on October 13, 1989. The album marked a change for the band, expanding their sound and exploring more progressive sounds. Several riffs are heavily influenced by Igor Stravinsky's "The Rites of Spring", specifically the center section of 'Pre-Ignition.' The band's most successful album to date, Nothingface was the band's first album to enter the Billboard 200 charts, peaking at number 114.
