Paul Milstein

Paul Milstein (May 12, 1922 – August 9, 2010) was a real estate developer and philanthropist. Born in New York City he attended DeWitt Clinton High School and the New York University School of Architecture. The family enterprises began with Morris Milstein, who emigrated to the United States from Russia and founded Circle Floor Company, Inc., a wood flooring company, in 1919. Circle Floor grew and, after World War II, expanded into floor tile, acoustical ceilings and drywall construction.
