Peter & Gordon

Peter and Gordon were a British Invasion-era duo formed by Peter Asher and Gordon Waller (d.17 July 2009), who achieved fame in 1964 with A World Without Love, and had several subsequent hits in that era. Peter Asher and his sister, actress Jane Asher were child actors.They played brother and sister in a 1955 episode of The Adventures of Robin Hood. Jane Asher dated the Beatles' Paul McCartney, and Peter and Gordon recorded several songs written by McCartney but credited to Lennon–McCartney, as was most work by either Lennon or McCartney at that time.
