Pid-e Nekooieh (also spelled Pidan kooieh) (in Persian: پید نکوئیه) is a mountanous area with ancient villages located 120 km from Anbarabad in Kerman province of Iran. Some of the villages in this area were discovered in winter 2006 by a team of Iranian security forces. The inhabitants of the villages had built their homes on remote mountains and were naked and ate leaves of trees as food. They were never in contact with their outside world.
