Piranshahr County (Persian: شهرستان پیرانشهر مکریان) is a county in West Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Piranshahr. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 107,677, in 20,617 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Lajan District. The county has two cities: Piranshahre Mokrian and Gerd Kashaneh.
