Portrait Of Johnny is the fifteenth album released by Johnny Mathis. It is the third compilation of hit singles released by him. After the surprisingly disappointing sales of his previous album I'll Buy You a Star with Nelson Riddle, Mathis was back on sales track with this album peaking at #2 on the Billboard album chart in its original release, his fourteenth consecutive album to chart. The album features six charting singles.
