Roy Innis
Roy Emile Alfredo Innis (born June 6, 1934, in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands) is an African American civil rights activist. He has been National Chairman of the Congress of Racial Equality (also known as CORE) since his election to the position in 1968. One of his sons, Niger Innis, serves as National Spokesman of the Congress of Racial Equality.
