Spassk-Dalny

Spassk-Dalny (Russian: Спасск-Да́льний), sometimes called Spassk, is a town in Primorsky Krai, Russia, situated on the Prikhankayskaya Flatland on the coast of Khanka Lake. Population: 44,166 (2010 Census preliminary results); 51,691 (2002 Census); 60,060 (1989 Census). The relief of the territory is flat, with small hills whose height does not exceed 150–220 m. The territory of the town is crossed by the Spassovka and Kuleshovka Rivers. Spassk-Dalny has a station on the Trans-Siberian Railway, with passenger trains connecting the town to destinations including Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Moscow.
