Syedwala (سید والا) is a town in the Nankana Sahib District of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located at 31°07′30″N 73°30′18″E / 31.1250°N 73.5050°E / 31.1250; 73.5050 at 177 metres above sea level. The town lies on the river Ravi in District Nankana Sahib and connects District Faisalabad, District Sheikhupura, District Okara and District Nankana Sahib. It is 27 km from Jaranwala. The name means 'a place where Ogahi, Arain ,Syeds ,Rajput , Sheik are in a majority'. New Syedwala was built after a flood of Ravi River and it is 3 km away from old Syedwala towards Janranwala Road.
