Universal South Records
Universal South Records is a record label that was started in 2001 by Universal Music Group, and operates as a brand of Universal Records. It was founded by record producers Tony Brown and Tim DuBois. The label specializes in country music artists. In 2005, Universal South Records partnered with the talent show Nashville Star, offering a recording contract to Season 3 winner Erika Jo.
