University of Eastern Philippines

The University of Eastern Philippines is a public university in the Philippines. The University is the only comprehensive state university in Eastern Visayas, offering the largest number of programs in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate education among the universities in the region. Its flagship campus is in Catarman, Northern Samar. The University started as the Catarman Farm School in 1908 through the effort of Governor Clodualdo Lucero. He proposed and sought the approval of the Provincial Board for the establishment of the school.
