Vote up the Houses you would bend the knee for.
Vote on your favorite house in HBO's Game of Thrones series. Based on the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series by George R.R. Martin, GoT follows members of several families as they travel around the fictional kingdom of Westeros, making deals and killing each other. Over the course of several seasons, audiences have gotten to know individual members of many families intimately - most notably the Starks of Winterfell and the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. While one appears to have only good people and the other mostly bad, the show's characters are so complicated with ambiguous motives that it is difficult to judge an entire House based on its members. Which GoT House is your favorite?
House Stark of Winterfell is one of the Great Houses of Westeros and they rule over the vast region known as the North from their seat in Winterfell. It is one of the oldest lines of Westerosi nobility by far, claiming a line of descent stretching back over eight thousand years. In days of old, they ruled as Kings of Winter, and since the Targaryen Conquest, they have been Wardens of the North.

House Mormont of Bear Island is an old, proud, and honorable house, and is one of the principal families sworn to House Stark of Winterfell. Their seat is at Bear Island, located in the Bay of Ice far to the north-west of Winterfell. While Bear Island is not a large house and lacks valuable resources, the Mormonts established themselves as an unquestionably loyal house to the Starks who will come to their aid.

House Targaryen is a noble family of Valyrian descent, and for centuries they lived on the island of Dragonstone until Aegon Targaryen and his sisters rode their dragons to the conquest of the Seven Kingdoms and became a Great House of Westeros and eventually the royal House of the Seven Kingdoms. House Targaryen conquered and unified the realm as the Kings of Westeros for nearly 300 years, until ousted in the War of the Usurper.
House Tyrell of Highgarden is one of the Great Houses of the Seven Kingdoms, and they ruled over the Reach, a vast, fertile, and heavily-populated region of southwestern Westeros, from their castle-seat of Highgarden as Lords Paramount of the Reach and Wardens of the South. A large, wealthy house, its wealth is only surpassed among the Great Houses by House Lannister, they also are widely known as the heart of chivalry in the Seven Kingdoms.
House Baratheon of Storm's End is one of the Great Houses of Westeros, and is the principal house in the Stormlands on the eastern coast of Westeros, aptly named for its frequent storms. Its seat, Storm's End, is an ancient castle raised by the Storm Kings and its army are known for soldiers who brave, hardy, and incredibly powerful in the battlefield.

House Martell is one of the Great Houses of Westeros and is the ruling house of Dorne in the far south of the continent from their castle Sunspear.
