The Greatest Movie Remakes of All Time, ranked by movie experts and film fans alike. This list of the top movie remakes of all time was created by taking best movie remake suggestions from Ranker users, and then holding an open vote on which selected films were, in fact, the top films ever made.

The list includes films that were inspired by a wide range of topics, from art house European cinema to highly-regarded classics of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Included are movies that were Academy Award recipients and nominees and even Best Picture selections - as well as cult movies or sleeper hits that took time to find an audience.
