Possible Los Angeles NFL Team Names

Assuming that none of the current NFL teams that are rumored to move, like the Jaguars, Chargers, Raiders, don't move to Los Angeles, then if there is ever a team in America's second largest city will need a new name. But for now, another year looks like it will tick by and Los Angeles still won't have a professional football team to add to its sports landscape. That being said, there are always rumors floating around whether or not it is possible that Los Angeles will get a NFL team in the near future. 

UPDATE: The Rams are moving back to Los Angeles. But what kind of name is the Rams? There aren’t any rams galloping across the 405. A name change is probably unlikely, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a better one out of there. 

There are a bunch good, creative names and nicknames on this list, all speculation and ideas of course, that draw upon Los Angeles' history and sporting past. Some have suggested the Express, which was the name of the USFL franchise, the Avengers, the former AFL team and let's not forget the Bulldogs, the name of L.A.'s first football team. If those aren't creative or wild enough for you, then how about names like the Condors, Diablos or Stars?
