Rob - Their album 'Beams' was one of the first reasons i started listening to more electronic music. I had never really listened to it before so it was all sort of new to me. So it then made me decide to buy a synth and wanting to start fooling around with different sounds that i could get out of it. I can remember hearing 'Are You The One' and thinking what a f**king cool song! 'Apocalypso' is also a f**king brilliant album. I think it was in like 2007 or 2008, around the time Apocalypso was released, I managed to see them play like 5 times in the one year and never got sick of seeing it once. see more on The Presets
Rob - My earliest memory of Crowded House was when my Dad used to sit around in our lounge room on a Sunday afternoon and play their greatest hits album. It wasn't until years later that I realised how great these songs actually were. Even though most of the band are from New Zealand, Australians have claimed them as our own, and why wouldn't we!! I think their sound and music has influenced a hell of a lot of bands and will go down as one of the best bands to ever come out of Australia (and New Zealand!!).

Mark - Empire of the Sun is two of my favourite modern day musicians making music together. When Walking On A Dream came out, it was everything I loved about music at the time and I get nostalgic when I listen to the album now. It reminds me of when I had no responsibilities and I'd just discovered that music was not only therapeutic during darker times, but that it could make you feel euphoric as well. The vocals for Treehouse were written in the months I had this album on repeat.
