Sid Vicious

The bassist of the Sex Pistols and inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Ten days after a drug-stained stabbing of Nancy Spungen on October 12, 1978, Sid Vicious attempted suicide by unsuccessfully slitting his wrists.
However, it was on February 1, 1979 at his post-bail party that Sid overdosed on heroin and was found dead with a suicide note in his jacket.
