"2 Guns" movie quotes bring the action and the laughs as two unlikely special agents are forced to work together. The film, which was directed by Baltasar Kormakur, was adapted into a screenplay by Blake Masters based off of the comic book series of the same name by Steven Grant. "2 Guns" opened in theaters in the United States on August 2, 2013.

In "2 Guns," DEA Agent Bobby Trench (Denzel Washington) and NCIS Agent Marcus Stigman (Mark Wahlberg) work together to rob a mob bank with each thinking that they are doing the job undercover to bust the other one. Soon however they discover that the other is a special agent and that they've both been set up by their respective agencies, who have since disowned the agents. This leaves Trench and Stigman in an awkward situation where they're not only on the run from their agencies but also from the mob whose money they stole.

Despite being polar opposites of one another, Trench and Stigman are forced to work together to keep both of their selves safe. Their relationships has some bumps but with a common goal of returning the mob money and staying alive, they find some common ground along the way. Paula Patton, James Marsden, Bill Paxton and Edward James Olmos all co-star in the action-comedy movie.

"2 Guns" joins an already busy summer 2013 movie season jam-packed with other films like "Blue Jasmine," "The Wolverine," "The To Do List," "Only God Forgives," "Girl Most Likely," "Red 2," "R.I.P.D.," "Pacific Rim," "Grown Ups 2," "The Lone Ranger," "Despicable Me 2," "The Heat," "White House Down," "World War Z," "Man of Steel," "This Is the End," and "Olympus Has Fallen."

    It's a Saying Now

    Video: YouTube

Bobby Trench: "You ever heard the saying, 'never rob a bank across from the diner that has the best donuts in three counties'?"
Marcus Stigman: "That's not a saying."
    Bobby Trench: "Yes, it is."
Marcus Stigman: "I get what you're saying but it's not a saying."
Bobby Trench: "It is a saying."
    Marcus Stigman: "Okay"
Bobby Trench: "It's a saying now."
Bobby Trench: "Go! Everybody sit down on the floor!"
Marcus Stigman: "Fire in the hole!"

Both thinking they are working undercover to take the other down for the crime, DEA Agent Bobby Trench and NCIS Agent Marcus Stigman work together to rob a bank. They are however breaking what is, according to Bobby, a classic rule: Robbing the bank right near where the cops surely hang out.

Marcus Stigman: "You're my people and we have a code. You fight for the guy that's fighting next to you."

It took a while, but Marcus Stigman and Bobby Trench come to an understanding. They're both the good guys and should work together for the greater good.

    Like We're Working Together

    Video: YouTube

Bobby Trench: "The bank was a set-up. We gotta figure out whose money that was."
Marcus Stigman: "What, like we're working together?"
Bobby Trench: "No, not like we're working together."
    Marcus Stigman: "Yeah!"
Bobby Trench: "No, like we're working in the same vicinity."
    Marcus Stigman: "Together"
Bobby Trench: "In the same area code."
    Marcus Stigman: "Together"

Bobby Trench might not want to work with Marcus Stigman but at this point he has few other options. Marcus Stigman on the other hand seems excitedly ready to partner up with Bobby Trench.

    Is That a Badge?

    Video: YouTube

Marcus Stigman: "How much you figure?"
    Bobby Trench: "$40 million"
    Marcus Stigman: "40 million dollars?!"
Bobby Trench: "But I got bad news for you"
    [Stigman shoots Trench]
Marcus Stigman: "What is that?! Is that a badge in your hand? You're DEA? Well, I'm Special Forces."

Following the bank robbery, Trench and Stigman take a look at their take out in the desert. Both however are shocked to learn that the other is also a law enforcement officer and that they've been set up.
