The Best Christian Bands & Artists of the 2000s

Voting Rules
Vote up the best Christian musicians and bands that were active and releasing albums between 2000 and 2009.

As a new millennium began, the popularity of Christian music continued. In the 2000s, the best Christian music built on its popularity in the '90s. Though not as many popular '00s Christian artists charted on mainstream lists as they did the decade before, the genre kept its foothold in popular music.

Even though some bands, like Evanescence, no longer identify as Christian bands they still were a huge part of shaping what Christian music was in the 2000s. From contemporary Christian music that wouldn't be surprising to hear during a youth service to Christian rock that still got a raised eyebrow in stricter homes, the best 2000s Christian music proved it was here to stay.

We've put together a list of some of the best Christian '00s bands, but if we're missing one be sure to add it to the list and vote up the best Christian band or artist of the 2000s.
