You know the Oscars ceremony can't be too far behind when the annual Oscar nominee luncheon takes place at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel. While attendance is optional, many of the nominees make the effort to attend, network, chit-chat with friends and colleagues and of course, state their case to the press why they should win on Oscar night.
This year's attendees included American Sniper director Clint Eastwood and star Bradley Cooper as well as all five of the Best Actress nominees - Julianne Moore for Still Alice, Felicity Jones for The Theory of Everything, Reese Witherspoon for Wild, Marion Cotillard for Two Days, One Night, and Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl. Even Oscar host Neil Patrick Harris and Oprah were in attendance as was Birdman Michael Keaton and his co-star and fellow nominee Edward Norton.Check out the full gallery from today's Oscar nominee luncheon, the menu and a few behind the scenes pics courtesy of the Academy's Instagram account. Be sure to tune in to the Oscars on February 22.
