Immigration has emerged as one of the central themes of the 2016 election. As a public issue, it's generated a huge amount of controversy and media reactions. The 2016 candidates for president have a wide range of policies on immigration, with everything from some kind of amnesty to the building of an elaborate border fence or wall to mass deportation of illegal immigrants.
