Politics and religion are a troubled pair. The religions of the announced candidates for the 2016 presidential election range from evangelical Catholic and Baptist to mostly non-practicing. However, it's clear that religious voters will have a huge influence on who gets the nominations, and in order to win favor with those voters, candidates will have to at least appear to be religious themselves.
For some religious politicians like Ted Cruz or Mike Huckabee, this won't be a problem, as they've been outspoken in their religious affiliations since entering into the public eye. But other candidates seem to talk about religion only when convenient. Others have converted multiple times or seem unclear about what they believe.Who are the religious candidates who walk the walk as well as they talk the talk, and who are the ones just faking it for the sake of getting votes?
