The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards will air live on January 10th. It is one of the first award shows of the season and often predicts who will win the Emmy or Academy Award. The nominations will not be officially announced until December 10th, however, there is already a ton of Hollywood chatter over who will be nominated. Here are a few early predictions for the 2016 Golden Globe Nominations for Best Actor – TV Comedy or Musical.

Last year, Jeffrey Tambor took home the Golden Globe for his performance of a late-blooming transgender woman in Jill Soloway’s hit Amazon show Transparent. Even though new episodes will not be available to stream until the middle of December, Tambor will most likely receive another nomination. The 10 episode series also won last year’s Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical.
Jim Parsons took home the Emmy last year for his performance on The Big Bang Theory. However, the 2011 Golden Globe winner did not receive a nomination in 2015. Expect to see veteran comedy actors Matt LeBlanc, Louis C.K., and William H. Macy in the mix. However, television comedy newcomers Patrick Stewart and Rob Lowe are already generating a lot of buzz for their freshmen sitcoms.Who do you feel were the best actors in TV comedies in 2015?
