2018 Golden Globe Nominees For Best Leading Actor

The 2018 Golden Globe nominations have finally arrived! This year, a diverse range of actors from a variety of different films received best actor nods. Both the drama and comedy category include a lot of talent. 

For best actor in a drama movie, the nominations are: Timothée Chalamet for the romantic drama Call Me by Your Name, Daniel Day-Lewis for the historic Phantom Thread, Tom Hanks in the political thriller The Post, Gary Oldman in World War II film The Darkest Hour, and Denzel Washington for the legal drama Roman J. Israel, Esq. 

For best actor in a comedy movie, the nominations are: James Franco for the movie about a movie The Disaster Artist, Steve Carell for the tennis comedy Battle of the Sexes, Ansel Elgort for the action comedy Baby Driver, Hugh Jackman in the musical The Greatest Showman, and Daniel Kaluuya for the comedic horror film Get Out.
