The nominees for best actress in a comedy or musical are: Saoirse Ronan for the coming-of-age saga Lady Bird, Margot Robbie for the black comedy I, Tonya, Helen Mirren for the road movie The Leisure Seeker, Judi Dench for the biographical film Victoria & Abdul, and Emma Stone for the historic comedy Battle of the Sexes
