In the musical or comedy category, the 2018 Golden Globe Best Picture nominees include: coming-of-age film Lady BirdThe Disaster Artist, starring James Franco and Seth Rogen; Jordan Peele's horror hit Get Out; I, Tonya, starring Margot Robbie as figure skater Tonya Harding; and biographical musical The Greatest Showman starring Hugh Jackman as P. T. Barnum.

For the drama category, the films include: Guillermo del Toro's fantasy-drama The Shape of Water; Stephen Spielberg's political thriller The Post starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep;  crime thriller Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; Christopher Nolan's WWII movie Dunkirk; and the romantic drama Call Me By My Name?
