Updated February 10, 2020 • 3:31pm PST 529 votes 49 voters47 items

While everyone in baseball wants to win a World Series, the best players in the league will all be competing for the 2020 MVP award. In the American League, that means young stars like Gleyber Torres and Vladimir Guerrero Jr., as well as established veterans such as D.J. LeMahieu and Matt Chapman.

Former AL MVP winners like Jose Altuve, Josh Donaldson, and three-time winner Mike Trout will all be a major part of the American League 2020 MVP race, as well as newcomer to the AL Anthony Rendon, who previously was a finalist for the MVP award while in the National League.

So check out this list of some of the best players in the American League, and vote up the stars you think have the best odds of being named the AL's most valuable player of 2020.
