2020 Golden Globes Nominations: The Biggest Snubs
Awards season has entered full swing with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announcing its picks for the best and the brightest of the year with the 2020 Golden Globe nominations.
Celebrating achievements on both the small and silver screens, this year's batch of noms includes the usual heavy-hitters, award season favorites, and top-notch talent from both mediums. Netflix came out on top with 17 nominations total in both television and film categories - with Marriage Story grabbing six noms and The Irishman up for five awards. On the television front, HBO's Chernobyl, Netflix's The Crown, and Netflix's Unbelievable nabbed four nominations apiece.
However, this year wasn’t just about happy surprises. Many of the year’s most acclaimed movies, programs, performances, and achievements from behind the camera went completely ignored. Take a look at what got the cold shoulder from the HFPA and vote up the ones that deserved to be contenders.
