List RulesVote up the players most likely to be named NHL MVP for the 2019-20 season.
Among the many NHL awards handed out each year, the Hart Trophy is easily one of the most sought-after — which is synonymous with the NHL MVP. While players may not outright strive for the title all season long, they all play their absolute best and do whatever they can to get their team a win, game after game. Regardless, the league MVP title is given to those guys who continually contribute to wins and bring the most value to their team. Nikita Kucherov took the trophy home last year, and while he's also factored in the Hart Trophy odds this season, who do you think will ultimately be named the NHL MVP for the 2019-20 season?
In addition to Kucherov, other likely candidates for the 2020 Hart Trophy include both league vets and fresh faces in the league. Coming off a Stanley Cup loss last season, could top Bruins player David Pastrnak use that as fuel for an MVP-worthy season? Or will young players like Auston Matthews make their way up the MVP race? Needless to say, there are a lot of talented players in the running for the Hart Trophy in 2020 — and the potential winners could be any of them.
Check out the list of MVP candidates below and cast a vote for the players you think will end up nabbing the 2020 Hart Trophy. If you think other players deserve to make the list as the season progresses, feel free to add them. Vote below, then head over and check out the top 2019-20 Stanley Cup contenders.
