With the 94th Academy Awards around the corner there are many films to consider for best adapted screenplay at the 2022 Oscars. With the foundation of a story crafted in its script, this year's collection of potential nominees displayed true vision and creativity.
From Guillermo del Toro's Nightmare Alley written by both del Toro and Kim Morgan to Maggie Gyllenhaal's The Lost Daughter. There are a variety of adapted screenplays to choose from no matter the genre. Not all of these screenplays were adapted from novels, CODA, written by Sian Heder is based on a the French film La Famille Bélier. Be sure to vote up your favorites and watch as many of these Oscar worthy movies as you can before or after the golden statues are handed out.
