    Following in the footsteps of their labelmates Twice, ITZY hit the ground running with their debut track "Dalla Dalla" charting high, breaking multiple YouTube records, and winning multiple rookie of the year awards. The group's concept is to bring uplifting and inspiring music through catchy lyrics. Their songs "Icy" and "Wannabe" also topped South Korean charts, while spreading a positive message.

    Originally debuting with four members, Red Velvet added maknae member Yeri in 2015, and their success skyrocketed. Named best idol group alive by Billboard in November 2019, Red Velvet is a group known for their diverse concepts and chart-topping hits. Red Velvet switches off between "red" tracks (fun and poppy), like "Red Flavor," and "velvet" tracks (dark and mature), like "Bad Boy" and "Psycho." With their influence spanning globally, they are one of the few groups who have performed in North Korea as representatives from South Korea.

    The first girl group since Source Music was acquired by Hybe Corporation, Le Sserafim features former IZ ONE members, Produce 48 contestants, and talented trainees. Its name an anagram of the phrase “I'm Fearless,” the group debuted in May 2022 with the single “Fearless.”

    Debut Year: 2012

    When a fancam of member Hani preforming "Up and Down" went viral, EXID finally started their breakthrough in the K-pop industry. The song shot to number one and EXID saw continued success after that with popular songs such as "Ah Yeah" and "DDD." The group promoted with four members from 2016 to 2018 while member Solji was recovering. In 2019, it was announce that the group would be taking a hiatus, so the members could focus on their solo careers.

    4MINUTE is one of the most famous girl groups who gained attention for their strong girl crush concept and their more mature comebacks. "What’s Your Name," "Crazy," and "Hate" are among the group's most popular songs. Among these songs, "Hate" was produced by popular artist Skrillex. Despite the group's great success, the members could not reach an agreement with Cube Entertainment and split up in 2016.

    Critically acclaimed for their music, f(x) is another group with catchy and chart topping songs. "Electric Shock," "Rum Pum Pum Pum," and "Four Walls" are some of the most well-known second generation K-pop songs. In 2013, f(x) became the first K-pop act to perform at SXSW and their album Pink Tape, was named Greatest K-pop Album of the 2010s by Billboard.​ In 2015, member Sulli left the group to focus on acting and in 2019, the rest of the members of f(x) left SM Entertainment. Member Amber stated that they currently did not have any plans to reunite.
