    While it commonly known that Randy Orton was a third-generation wrestler, his career was a lot different than the careers of his father and his grandfather. Yet, there is a milestone that Randy and his father have in common.

    For decades, Pro Wrestling Illustrated was one of the top wrestling magazines in the United States regarding coverage and fan feedback. In 1973, "Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr. was given PWI's Rookie of the Year award. In 2001, Randy would win the PWI Rookie of the Year award, 28 years after his daddy did.
