Whether they are leftovers from a forgotten time, laws that only make sense in a very specific region, or just the creation of a politician who was drunk or insane, there are some really strange laws in the United States. Each state has its share of crazy laws, but we have chosen the best weird state laws from each one of them. You will be amazed at what is illegal (and sometimes what is allowed) in your home state.

Want to dye a duck blue and sell it? You'll go to jail in one state unless you dye and sell six of them. Love to play Bingo but are a convicted felon? Hopefully you don't live in Pennsylvania! The crazy state laws on this list range from just plain silly to truly unfair. In one state, you can't get married if you have an STD!

Some might call them wacky, others call them dumb, but one thing is certain: this odd state laws will have citizens scratching their heads for years to come. Maybe someday we'll repeal all of the stupid state laws on the books. But until then, we'll just have to stay on our toes. Yard sales are forbidden.

 9.28.060 Yard or garage sales - Restrictions.A. It is unlawful for any person or persons to offer for sale household goods in a "yard" or "garage" sale in an area in front of the front building line of the premises in which such person or persons reside.

The game of "Folf" (frisbee golf) can not be played at night.

5-13-2: Folfing Prohibited. No person shall play or engage in the game of folf or throw a golf disc at nighttime in any area within the business improvement district that has not been sanctioned as a designated folf course by the city.

Nebraska is listed (or ranked) 27 on the list 50 Bizarre State Laws

Anybody with a sexually transmitted disease is not allowed to get married in Nebraska.

42-102Minimum age; affliction with venereal disease, disqualification.

At the time of the marriage the male must be of the age of seventeen years or upward, and the female of the age of seventeen years or upward. No person who is afflicted with a venereal disease shall marry in this state.

Sex toys are illegal.

Sec. 8.14.040. Sale of sexual paraphernalia.

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, offer to sell or display for sale any device, including but not limited to dildos and artificial vaginae, designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs.
