Before Ben Stiller announced the winner of the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy, he walked through a bit of the history of the television sitcom. He walked by numerous wax figures until he started to talk about the Bob Newhart Show and "forgot" that Newhart was still alive and onscreen. Newhart got a few good digs in on Stiller including saying he hated the actor in Tropic Thunder.
