It was fought near Aussig in northern Bohemia. The crusade was called because the Pope believed that the Hussite armies would be easily defeated after the death of Jan Žižka. The overall commander of the Hussite forces at the battle was Sigismund Korybut, while Prokop the Great was independently in command of the Taborites. The crusade was sent to Bohemia after the negotiations they were held in Pressburg and Cheb between Hussites and the emperor Sigismund had failed. The Imperial army was besieging the city of Domažlice since August 8, when the sight of the approaching and singing Hussite relief army led by Prokop the Bald and hearing their battle hymn "Ktož jsú boží bojovníci", led to mass panicking among the crusaders, who fled through the Bohemian Forest. Battle of Hořice

The Battle of Hořice was fought on April 27, 1423 between the Taborite and Utraquist factions of the Hussites. The Hussites were led by Jan Žižka, while the Utraquists were led by Čeněk of Wartenberg. The Taborites eventually won this battle, which ended the Hussite Civil War. Throughout the Hussite Wars, there were many different factions of Hussites. The only thing keeping them allied against the Crusaders was a common and more threatening enemy to fight. Once they could not see any Germans around, the various factions of Hussites would fight each other. The Taborites took the high ground and built their Wagenburg there. The Utraquist cavalry could not ride up such a steep hill and was ...more on Wikipedia
